Application Examples
The flow punch forming process may be used everywhere, where threads,
bushings, soldering connections or through-holes are to be produced
in thin-walled metals materials (e.g. steel plates, non-ferrous metals
or high-alloy steels).
Flow punch forming can be used
with virtually all thin-walled metals (excluding tin or
zinc); for
example all
Welding steels
Stainless steels
Aluminum
Copper
Brass
Bronze
Magnetic materials
Special alloys

Metals of a wall thickness between 1-12mm can be processed; in doing
so the bushes or through-holes are produced up to the 4-fold amount
of the original material thickness in diameters from 1.8mm to 32mm.
It will thus be possible to avoid the classical processes such as
the welding on of screw nuts, the insertion of rivet nuts and punch
nuts.
With the different default-centerdrill-types bushes and through-holes can be
hole-punched both with a collet or a flat surface.
In general this application is used to process flats sheets, round and square
profiles that according to our experience are used in the following industries:
Automotive industry
Steel
furniture, loading equipment
Trade fair construction
Guardrail construction
Hospital equipment
Wheel chairs, steel beds, sanitary
Cleaning systems
Solar systems
Lighting
Machine constructors
Agriculture
